DESCRIPTION
Patagonia’s jack-of-all-things-alpine, the Triolet Jacket features waterproof/breathable 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric with a recycled face to deliver versatile, durable performance in heavy snow, driving wind and rain.
Maximum protection comes from the three-layer durable, waterproof/breathable and windproof GORE-TEX fabric with a 100% recycled polyester face for rugged protection. A helmet-compatible hood makes for optimal visibility, with a laminated visor and is two-way-adjustable to provide good visibility even in poor conditions. Two Napoleon chest pockets with watertight zips and zipper garages, two welted handwarmer pockets stay clear of a harness or pack waistbelt, interior stretch catch-all pocket.
Welted, watertight two-way pit zips provide ventilation and reach without raising the body of the jacket. Low-profile cuffs use a tapered tab hook-and-loop closure for a tight wrist seal; a dual-adjust drawcord hem seals out weather. Elasticised strap at low back connects to any Patagonia Snow pants and select Alpine pants to prevent jacket from riding up.

PROVENANCE AND ETHICS
Patagonia was founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, the company’s roots are in clothing for rock and alpine climbing, but they now produce a diverse mix of apparel targeted towards skiers, snowboarders, surfers and climbers. Patagonia are a world leader in creating ethical, sustainable clothing.
Recycled Polyester – In 1993, Patagonia adopted fleece into their product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles making them the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health. Using recycled polyester lessens dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.
